Howard Hiton is a local counselor and wonderful advocate for boys! He has done considerable work with PPS and is a GREAT resource! Check out his website, with particular attention to "publications/handouts".

Stumptown CHADD is a local volunteer run branch of a national organization. Check out their website HERE for support groups and resources.
Parent Support Center
Parent Support Center, Inc., located in Portland, Oregon and serving the Pacific Northwest region, was established in 1988 in response to an unmet need for effective parenting classes available to all, regardless of ability to pay. Founder JoAnne Nordling, a former teacher and school counselor, and Lorraine Heller, a former Head Start Teacher, began offering the Caring Discipline program, and we now offer training, classes --both in-person and online, workshops, materials, resources, inspiration, and ongoing support to parents and educators
